京福　新駅『撮影所前』は必要か？

～京都新聞さんより引用～

京都の京福沿線で、帷子ノ辻駅～常盤駅の間に、今春より新駅『撮影所前』という駅ができます。

新駅のできる撮影所前は、京福の北野腺にある。

京福北野線は、鳴滝～宇多野間では、『桜のトンネル』でも京都では有名なスポットになります。

また、御室仁和寺や龍安寺などもある観光では、結構有名な路線になります。

先日、河原町から帰るときに、阪急の大宮駅より京福に乗り換えて、

『太秦駅』まで、京福を利用したのだが、四条大宮駅で、新駅4月1日より開業！！！と書いてありました。

現在、鳴滝に住んでいるのですが、普段は電車に乗らず、車通勤の為、初耳でした。

しかし、地元に住んでいる人間としては、疑問に思うこともありました。

現在新駅は、帷子ノ辻駅から常盤駅間の間で、進められているようですが

実際、帷子ノ辻から常盤駅って、歩いても5分程ですよ・・・

電車でしたら、1分かからず着きます。

値段は、どこで降りても一律210円です。

京福電車は、市バス・京都バス同様、京都市民の足ともいうべき路線だと思います。

観光の為といえば、聞こえがいいと思いますが、その分運賃を安くしてくれたほうが、

市民にとっては、うれしいのでは・・・

個人的な意見でしたが、一般的には、京都は、観光の街なので、観光客が非常に多いです。

観光客にとって、より便利に交通が行き届けば、多くの観光客が、京都に来る＝財政が良くなる・・・

といったところでしょうか。

今年は、京福北野線全線開通90周年の年のようです。

新駅建設後一気に軌道に乗ればよいのですが・・・
