北野天満宮『梅花祭』

毎月２５日は、京都の北野天満宮で縁日が催されます。

菅原道真公の御誕生日である6 月25日と薨去（こうきょ）された2月25日に由来しています。

特に２月２５日は、道真公が薨去（こうきょ）された日として、梅花祭という催しがされます。

先日、梅花祭についての記事を書きましたが、今回は実際に行ってきました。

当日は、北野天満宮の駐車場が満車になることは地元の人ならば、誰もが知っているため、今回は、京福電車を利用。

平日にもかかわらず、乗車人数も多かったと思います。

北野天満宮境内もいつもより多くの露店が出ていたかと思います。

人の数も、写真の通り。

梅花祭目当ての人もかなり多い様子でした。

道真公が大宰府で詠んだ詩です。

北野天満宮のいたるところにある牛：学問の神様ということもあり、牛の頭をなでている人もかなりいました。

見頃は、2月の上旬から3月の下旬にかけて見れます。

境内には数千本の梅の木があり、種類に応じて見頃があります。

梅花祭を見に来た方には、お茶が振舞われます。

人が多すぎた為、お茶菓子を持って帰りました。
梅花祭野点大茶湯（ばいかさいとばいかさいのだておおちゃのゆ）
2月の25日は、梅花祭野点大茶湯が開催されます。

上七軒の舞妓さんがお茶を入れてくれるということで人気の高い梅花祭野点大茶湯ですが、

先着3000枚ということもありまして、当然のことながら、当日券は買えませんでした。

縁日以外にも、初詣などでも良く行く北野天満宮ですが、また、いつもと違った雰囲気がとてもよかったと思います。
